Why I’m Doing Model Calls in Knoxville (And How You Can Be Part of It!)
There’s something truly special about starting fresh in a new place—and that’s exactly where I’m at right now here in beautiful Knoxville, Tennessee. As a photographer who recently relocated from Arizona, I’m not just looking to build a business here—I’m excited to build community. And one of the best ways I’ve found to do that is through model calls.
If you’re wondering what a model call is, let me break it down: It’s an opportunity for me to offer free or discounted sessions in exchange for permission to use the images for my portfolio, social media, and website. But it’s more than that—it’s a chance to collaborate, create magic together, and get some beautiful photos while we’re at it!
Who I’m Looking For:
I’m currently looking for couples, newlyweds, and growing families here in the Knoxville area. Whether you’re:
- Planning a fun date night shoot to capture your connection
- Recently married and want those “just because” romantic shots

You’ll need to take me somewhere I haven’t been before!
I’m always looking to explore new spots around Knoxville, so part of the fun is discovering a new location together—maybe your favorite trail, a cute hidden street, or a peaceful spot by the water.
If you’re hoping for a studio session or a location that requires a permit or entrance fee, you’re absolutely welcome to suggest it—just keep in mind that any fees will need to be covered on your end.

Why I Do Model Calls (And How to Join!)
Doing model calls is something I plan to include in my business every year. It’s how I stay creatively inspired, explore new spaces, and meet incredible people like you. But I do keep it limited—only two sessions per category each year (couples, maternity, newlyweds, etc.), so once those slots are filled, I close model call opportunities until the next round.
And just a heads-up: reaching out doesn’t guarantee a spot. I love getting to know the people I work with, and it’s super important that we’re a good fit. We’ll chat, get to know each other a bit, and make sure we align creatively and vibe well together before confirming your session.

I bring my heart into every session. I want you to feel seen, comfortable, and celebrated. We’ll collaborate on the vision, talk through outfits, and choose a brand new location that feels authentic to you. Most of all, we’ll create photos that tell your story—your way.
